A gateway to the Luberon, Lagnes' countryside is exceptional with its numerous trails, breathtaking views. and a favorite starting point to explore the entire region. A short 5 minute car ride from L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, a charming town well known for its 300+ antique dealers ( second largest antique market in Europe), its bustling market and its refreshing water ways. Within a 10 minute car ride is the the regional Luberon Park, a real paradise for nature and landscape lovers with its perched villages of Gordes, Bonnieux or Menerbes to name a few.... its lavender fields, and olive groves. Within a 30 minute car ride is the historical city of Avignon, known for its Papal Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site, or discover Saint-Remy de Provence, les Carrieres de Lumieres in les Baux de Provence in the Alpilles mountain range and experience first hand the landscapes that inspired Van Gogh.
